How QAB Systems came about
QAB Systems is a division of WCC Group, which has over 20 years’ experience working within high-security establishments. Focusing on perimeter security maintenance within these heightened security sites. Works here have included the removal of fence topped razor wire, removing and replacing damaged sections of the fence. This work has been the catalyst for QAB Systems and a product we have used for the last 6 years to ensure our staff’s safety while working on hard to reach areas of fence lines.
What is QAB Systems?
QAB Systems is a range of fencing quick access bracket products that connect to security fencing. Originally used for the maintenance of razor wire on perimeter security fencing to ensure a safe way of working for WCC Group staff. QAB systems’ security fencing accessories reduce the installation and maintenance time for security fencing, as well as providing a cost-effective and efficient alternative to scaffolding and MEWPs. It has proven to be a safe, effective & secure method of working, with WCC Group utilising the brackets since 2013. QAB Systems is not now a WCC Group exclusive product, having been used by 3 major security fencing firms within the UK security fencing sector for the last 3 years across 3 different sites within Scotland.
How it’s made
QAB Systems look to support local businesses and that is why we work closely with local companies to fabricate our products. Our supply chain includes Selman Marine who we use for CAD drawings of our products before they get passed to Dumbarton Precision Engineering who then mill our brackets from a single block of steel. Clow Group UK is also a supplier of ours who specialise in manufacturing our ladders.
